Butters ruins Bates' day

Leeds United let two points slip out of their grasp for the second consecutive home game following a 1-1 draw against Brighton at Elland Road.
Clarke Carlisle's goal just before the break seemed to be enough to give The Whites the points before Guy Butters earned a late share of the spoils.
New Leeds supremo Ken Bates was on hand to watch his new side and will now have a clearer idea of the task in hand in West Yorkshire.
Good running from Aaron Lennon early on gave the home side some early impetus, while Gylfi Einarsson headed at David Yelldell.
Leeds assumed control just before the break when Carlisle latched onto his own rebound and coolly slotted past Yelldell following a corner.
The home side had a host of chances to finish off The Seagulls and their inability to net a second proved costly.
Butters came up for a corner with nine minutes remaining to head the visitors a vital point and spoil Bates' day.
Brighton finished the game with 10 men after Charlie Oatway was dismissed in the dying seconds, however, Leeds could not capitalise.
