Foxes too strong for Gills

Leicester heaped more woe on Gillingham with a 2-0 success at The Walkers Stadium.
David Connolly and Matt Heath did the damage with first half goals to sink Stan Ternent's men and leave them in real trouble.
The Foxes had a spring in their step from the off and only two brave blocks from Richard Rose prevented Keith Gillespie and Jordan Stewart from opening the scoring.
The opener came on 19 minutes, as a flowing move involving James Scowcroft and Gillespie allowed Danny Tiatto to fire in a cross which presented Connolly with the simplest of chances.
The goal buoyed Leicester and Heath bundled home Gillespie's free kick to give Leicester a cushion at the break.
Darius Henderson had the best chance for The Gills on the stroke of half time, but Stuart Taylor was the equal of his effort, while at the other end Connolly hit the woodwork and Lilian Nalis went close at The Foxes claimed the points.
