Leeds United's worrying slump continued on Saturday as they were beaten 2-0 at home by Leicester City.

Kevin Blackwell's side suffered the indignity of being the first side to be beaten by Rotherham United this season on Monday.

Blackwell would have been looking for a positive reaction at Elland Road, but Craig Levein's Foxes inflicted more misery on the West Yorkshire side.

French midfielder Lilian Nalis gave the visitors the lead three minutes after the interval when he rammed home from close range following Keith Gillespie's corner.

The home fans suffered more misery when Gary Kelly put through his own net 12 minutes before the final whistle to seal the three points for the visitors.

The result sees struggling Leeds just five points and two places outside of the Championship relegation zone.

Whites fans will be fearing their worst after a number of lacklustre displays this season while The Foxes have renewed hope of a play-off place.

Leicester now sit in eighth place in the table and are just five points off sixth-placed Queens Park Rangers.
