Royals see off Cardiff

Reading continued their fine home form with a 2-1 win over ten-man Cardiff.
The hosts got off to a dream start with Dean Morgan firing them in front after just 13 minutes.
Reading doubled their lead six minutes before the break with the in-form Dave Kitson sliding home his fifth goal in as many games and his 11th of the season.
Cardiff were reduced to ten men on 56 minutes with Bluebirds skipper Graham Kavanagh seeing red for a foul on Steve Sidwell.
The visitors refused to give in and they pulled a goal back three minutes from the end through substitute Cameron Jerome.
Cardiff threw everything into attack in the closing stages in a bid to try and get something from the game, but Reading held on the for the win.
The win lifts Reading to within two points of leaders Wigan, while Cardiff are just two places above the relegation zone.
