David Healy came back to haunt his old club as Leeds United beat Preston 4-2 at Deepdale.

Northern Ireland international Healy struck his first two goals for his new club to help them secure a much-needed win.

The Whites got off to a dream start with Brian Deane heading them in front after just 13 minutes.

Healy doubled the lead just two minutes later with the striker firing home from the edge of the area.

Preston fought back and reduced the arrears soon after the break with Richard Cresswell finding the net.

Simon Walton restored Leeds' two-goal cushion when he fired home from Deane's knock-down.

Preston again battled back and Cresswell grabbed his second 11 minutes from time with a header, but Leeds held on for their second away win of the season.
