Millers salvage late draw

Rotherham United recovered from two goals down to salvage an unlikely draw with Cardiff City.

Four goals in ten second-half minutes capped an exciting encounter at Millmoor.

Early on, Tony Warner produced several good saves for the Welsh visitors, as Rotherham failed to capitalise on their chances.

Paul Parry hit the bar for Cardiff with an audacious lob, but bottom-of-the-league Rotherham dominated the first half.

The Bluebirds produced a much improved performance after the break and took the lead after 70 minutes.

A well worked move ended with a crisp left foot finish from Joe Ledley.

Four minutes later, Cardiff doubled their advantage, as Parry drove home a shot from the edge of the box.

Rotherham required an immediate response and produced it through Paul McLaren's well struck 25-yard volley.

The astonishing ten-minute period was completed when substitute Michael Proctor produced a stunning volley from outside the box for 2-2.

Despite the impressive comeback, Rotherham remain without a win in The Championship this season.
