Nottingham Forest will welcome back inspirational midfielder Andy Reid for the visit of Watford after he missed the last three matches through a combination of suspension and injury.

The Republic of Ireland international has recovered from the knee problem which ruled him out of last weekend's 3-2 defeat at Preston and the midweek Carling Cup win over Doncaster.

Paul Evans should also return to the starting line-up after suspension, replacing James Perch in midfield despite the teenager's first goal for the club on Tuesday.

Gareth Taylor is suspended, so Marlon King continues to partner David Johnson in attack, while John Thompson is a step closer to making his first appearance of the season after returning to action for the reserves this week.

Watford's top scorer Danny Webber will return at The City Ground after being rested on Tuesday, when Ray Lewington's side beat Sheffield United on penalties in the Carling Cup.

Webber has scored nine goals so far this season but has failed to find the net in his last six Championship outings, and The Hornets have not won any of them.

Midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson will return after injury to face his former club, but defender Neil Cox is ruled out by a hamstring problem.
