Gillingham have lost their last seven Championship matches and to make matters worse, they are badly affected by injuries for Saturday's visit of Wolves.

John Robinson, Darren Byfield, Nicky Southall and Patrick Agyemang all picked up injuries in the 3-1 defeat at West Ham last weekend and will all be out of action for at least a fortnight.

They join John Hills, Iwan Roberts, Alan Pouton and Paul Smith on the sidelines, leaving manager Andy Hessenthaler's resources stretched to the limit. One positive is the possible return of defender Barry Ashby.

The Gills have scored only once at The Priestfield Stadium since August 14 - their only strike being an own goal by Sheffield United's Leigh Bromby.

Wolves are in a mini-revival and if they can win in Kent it would be their third consecutive Championship success.

They travel south without top scorer Kenny Miller, who is suspended having been sent off in last weekend's 2-1 victory over QPR at Molineux.

South Korean striker Ki-Hyeon Seol is set to partner Carl Cort up front, with Shaun Newton replacing him on the left side of midfield.

Mikkel Bischoff has extended his loan spell from Manchester City by a further month and he will continue to partner Joleon Lescott in defence, with Jody Craddock left out.
