Tottenham Hotspur made easy work of their Carling Cup tie at Oldham Athletic, as Jacques Santini's side romped to a 6-0 win.
Fredi Kanoute (2), Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe, Goran Bunjevcevic and Anthony Gardner all found the scoresheet for Spurs at Boundary Park, as The Latics just could not live with their Premiership visitors.
In foggy conditions in Greater Manchester, Oldham looked committed in the opening stages to get the first goal.
But eight minutes before the break, Spurs took the lead when Kanoute connected with a near post downward header from Robbie Keane's corner on the left for a 1-0 half time lead.
Despite a spirited start to the second half by Brian Talbot's side, Spurs doubled their lead when Keane took advantage of an Oldham mix-up in the box to make it 2-0.
Substitute Defoe then got into the goalscoring act with his side's third by finishing a fine move involving Pedro Mendes and Michael Brown.
Bunjevcevic then made it four with three minutes left with a strike from 12 yards before Gardner scored a fine 25-yard strike for his first goal in two years.
Kanoute completed the rout with Spurs' sixth, as the North London club took their place in the third round draw.
