Sunderland travel to Bradford City in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday afternoon hoping to avoid the same fate as Chelsea in the previous round.
The League One side caused one of the biggest upsets the competition has ever seen by winning 4-2 at the home of the Premier League leaders last month despite trailing 2-0 at one stage of the tie.
And with Gus Poyet’s men currently languishing down near the foot of the table following their 2-0 loss to fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday, Bradford may fancy their chances of knocking out another of the so-called big boys.
Teams news
Bradford goalkeeper Ben Williams will return to the starting line-up because first-choice stopper Jordan Pickford cannot face his parent club, as he has not had permission to play in the competition.
Striker Billy Clarke made his first start since December 20 in Monday night's win against MK Dons after recovering from a knee injury and will be hoping to retain his place, while Andy Halliday is pushing for a recall.
Recent signing Gary MacKenzie has yet to make his first appearance for the club and the on-loan Blackpool defender is hoping to feature.
Midfielder Jack Rodwell returns to the Sunderland squad after missing the last four games as a result of suspension and a groin injury.
However, the home team have doubts over full-back Anthony Reveillere, who limped out of the midweek defeat to QPR with a tight hamstring, while Emanuele Giaccherini (ankle) remains on the sidelines and fellow midfielder Lee Cattermole (knee) should return to training next week.
Betting
Bradford are 7/4 to dump another Premier League side out of the FA Cup, with Sunderland 2/5 favourites to qualify for the next round.
The Black Cats are evens (1/1) to win at Valley Parade, with cup specialists Bradford available at 13/5 for the upset, or 5/2 to earn a replay.
Having remarkably come back from a 2-0 deficit away to Chelsea in the last round, the Bantams are 40/1 to be behind at the break, yet go on to win on Sunday.
