Match report from Torino v Fiorentina

Fiorentina's Khouma Babacar grabbed a late equaliser to secure a point for Viola as they drew 1-1 at Torino.

Senegalese striker Babacar struck 12 minutes from time from the right-hand side of the penalty area after being released by Federico Bernardeschi

Torino had taken the lead after 62 minutes when Fabio Quagliarella finished Bruno Peres' pass into the bottom corner of Norberto Murara Neto's goal.

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella said: "We got lost for five minutes but we led the race from start to finish and got the goal."

The visitors started on the front foot and Josip Ilicic saw his shot blocked before Jasmin Kurtic brought Torino goalkeeper Jean Francois Gillet into action.

Quagliarella and Kamil Glik went close for Torino but on-loan defender Micah Richards forced another good save from Gillet.

In what was proving a see-saw first half Gillet brilliantly saved from Slovenian midfielder Kurtic before Juan Sanchez Mino fired just wide for Torino.

Quagliarella then tried his luck from 35 yards but his right-footed shot whistled just wide before he again tested Neto five minutes before the interval.

Fiorentina started the second half well with Kurtic going close again and Matias Fernandez narrowly missing the target with his free-kick, but Quagliarella made them pay for their profligacy.

It looked as if it might be enough to secure all three points but Torino were denied when Babacar struck what was only Fiorentina's second goal in five league matches.

Torino coach Giampiero Ventura said: "There is a bit of regret at not winning but Fiorentina is a good team."
