Stuart McCall’s first game in charge as Rangers boss ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw with Livingston at Ibrox in the Scottish Championship.

The home side led through Haris Vuckic’s early goal but Ibra Sekajja netted for The Lions before the break.

And the Glasgow club were unable to snatch a winner which makes it one victory in their last eight matches in all competitions.

A round-up of all Saturday's games in the Scottish Premiership.

McCall’s side made the perfect start and were ahead after nine minutes when Nicky Law put Vuckic through on goal and the striker stroked the ball home.

The Lions responded well and came close to equalising with Sekajja’s low shot palmed away by the keeper, before Keaghan Jacobs squared the ball for Scott Pittman but he failed to find the target.

Rangers could have doubled their lead but spurned two opportunities with Tom Walsh’s effort at the back post whistling over, while Darren McGregor’s header from a corner flew inches wide.

And Mark Burchill’s side made them pay by equalising on 45 minutes when Danny Mullen’s header came off the post and Sekajja was quickest to react for a tap in, although the striker looked to have injured himself after an acrobatic goal celebration.

Livi should have taken the lead after the break when Jacobs threaded the ball through to Mullen but he failed to find the target with the goal at his mercy.

The home side did have the ball in the back of the net through Nicky Clark’s header but it was ruled out for off-side.

The visitors continued to threaten though with McCulloch heading over from a corner, while Kyle Jacobs’ curling effort from 20 yards was well saved.

But they had goalkeeper Darren Jamieson to thank for keeping them in the game after he pulled off a great save to keep out Kenny Miller's header.

Neither side were able to grab a late winner and the result means Rangers stay third but are seven points behind second-placed Hibernian while Livingston remain at the bottom, five points behind Alloa.
