Aberdeen have no fresh injuries ahead of Wednesday's Scottish Premiership clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Pittodrie.

Dons manager boss Derek McInnes was pleased to see his side come through Saturday's 0-0 draw with Partick unscathed.

But McInnes may be tempted to make changes to his starting team after Aberdeen laboured for much of the match against Thistle.

The only absentee for Aberdeen is skipper Russell Anderson, as the defender continues his rehabilitation from a long-term knee injury.

Aberdeen have dropped seven points in their last four league games, but will be hoping for a third successive victory over Caley Thistle this season.

Visiting Inverness have no fresh injury concerns with striker Edward Ofere in contention for a start.

The Nigerian international came off the bench at the weekend and could be promoted to the first XI. Long-term absentee Richie Foran remains sidelined with a knee injury.

The game marks the first time Graeme Shinnie will face the Dons after having signed a pre-contract agreement to join them in the summer.

His current manager John Hughes, told the Inverness Courier: “He will probably be man of the match on Wednesday. He will want to show Aberdeen what type of player he is.

“I’ve touted him for Scotland before and, no disrespect to Inverness, it will probably take him moving to Aberdeen to achieve that. They’ve got themselves a wonderful player who is a fitness fanatic, works hard and has great values.”
