Managerless Motherwell welcome Ross County to Fir Park on Saturday with minds still focused on matters off the pitch.
The struggling club hope to make a managerial appointment as soon as possible but the situation has been complicated by the uncertainty surrounding the club's ownership.
The Well Society is aiming to push through a £1m deal to gain control of the club in partnership with Lanarkshire-born businessman Les Hutchison while an Argentinian consortium has also held talks over buying out majority shareholder John Boyle.
The 1-0 defeat to Celtic last weekend was their eighth consecutive league loss and they sit just two points above Saturday's visitors in the standings.
Simon Ramsden is suspended following his red card against Celtic while Steven Hammell and Jack Leitch (knee) are also unavailable.
Liam Boyce is suspended for County after his ordering off in the 3-2 defeat against Dundee United last Friday.
But on-loan Slovakian playmaker Filip Kiss could return to the County midfield after shaking off a thigh strain which saw him miss out against United.
Ben Frempah (ankle), Rocco Quinn (hip) and Darren Barr (knee) are all out until the New Year.
