Dundee United will be looking to build on their midweek League Cup success at Hibernian as they defend their unbeaten home record against St Mirren.
United, who lost 1-0 at Inverness on league duty last time out, rang the changes at Easter Road but came through a gruelling contest on a penalty shoot-out to make the semi-finals.
Sean Dillon, Nadir Ciftci, Stuart Armstrong and Keith Watson were all left out of Wednesday's starting XI and can expect to be recalled while Jon Souttar, who made his first start of the season in Leith, also comes into the reckoning.
John McGinn is a doubt for the trip to Tannadice as St Mirren look to continue their good form on the road.
The midfielder has injured his knee and will be given a late fitness test.
Skipper Steven Thompson is out long-term with a groin injury, and Isaac Osbourne (shin), Gregg Wylde and Ellis Plummer (both groin) are also missing.
Saints, without a win in six home games, have racked up seven points from their last away games with wins at Partick Thistle and St Johnstone and a draw at Pittodrie.
