Christophe Berra's 83rd minute header pushed Ipswich back into the play-off places after a pulsating 3-2 victory over relegated Blackpool

Despite not winning away all season, Blackpool produced a shock after just four minutes when the unmarked Orlandi stroked home Cameron's low cross.

The home side looked to hit back straight away but Daryl Murphy was denied a clear run at goal by a great tackle by Peter Clarke before Blackpool keeper Elliot Parish raced out to deny Sears.

The home side's pressure paid off on 24 minutes when a deep free kick was nodded on by Tyrone Mings and Sears expertly vollied into the roof of the net.

Within four minutes, Ipswich had taken the lead for the first time. Luke Chambers and Murphy exchanged passes before the Town skipper's cross was deflected into the path of Sears, via the unfortunate Orlandi, and the in-form striker calmly doubled his account.

Ipswich had a good shout for a penalty turned down eight minutes before half-time when Peter Clarke appeared to handle Sears' goalbound shot before substitute Paul Anderson narrowly missed the far post after great work by Tyrone Mings down the left.

The pattern of home dominance continued in the second half with Murphy rifling a good chance wide of the near post with less than 60 seconds of the restart played.

Out of nothing, Blackpool almost equalised - and all from Ipswich's making. Parish's long clearance should have been routinely dealt with by Berra but his back header just missed the far post as Bartosz Bialkowski scampered back.

At the other end, Murphy nodded Sears' cross wide, Berra's goalbound header was cleared by David Ferguson before Parish did well to hold onto an effort from Sears.

Shortly before the hour mark, Sears should have grabbed his hat-trick when he cooly turned inside Clarke but shot straight at Parish.

Against the run of play, Blackpool levelled in the 63rd minute when a quick free kick caught Ipswich napping, allowing Gary Madine to cross for Cameron to slide home at the far post.

Ipswich regained the lead just seven minutes from time when Murphy did brilliantly to control Luke Chambers' long ball before delicately chipping the ball across goal for Berra to head home at the far post.
