Serbia beat Japan 2-0 in their international friendly in Novi Sad.

Japan, who are heading for next year's World Cup, were outplayed by their hosts who will not be making the trip, in a game arranged to fit their respective breaks from qualifying.

Dusan Tadic scored the opener for Serbia with 59 minutes gone, finishing well after a shot was deflected into his path.

The second goal arrived in injury time, with Milos Jojoc sliding into an unguarded goal.
