  1. Late drama at the Liberty Stadium saw Djibril Cisse level for Kuban Krasnodar with virtually the last kick of the match from the penalty spot after Ibrahima Balde had been brought down by home keeper Gerhard Tremmel. It had all looked so good for the Swans when Michu gave them the lead after the break with a well-worked goal, but Cisse's strike means that qualifying could now be a little more difficult than it might have been had they been able to hang on for what would have been a third straight win in Group A.

  2. 90+3

GOAL! Cisses drills the ball into the bottom left corner and although Tremmel guesses right, he is unable to keep it out.

  3. 90+3

Tremmel escapes with a booking and will be able to face the resulting penalty.

  4. 90+2

One last attack from Kuban and Balde bursts into the box and gets to the ball ahead of keeper Tremmel who brings him down - penalty awarded and no real complaints!

  5. 90

We will have a minimum of two minutes added time as Rangel's shot is saved by the Kuban keeper.

  6. 89

Swansea are back in possession to the relief of their fans as the clock ticks down.

  7. 88

Swansea counter and space opens up for Michu on the edge of the box but his shot is charged down.

  8. 87

Balde gets on the end of a Fidler cross but he can't direct it on target and the Swans have a goalkick.

  9. 86

The hosts are being put on the backfoot and everyone is behind the ball as they look to hold onto their precious lead.

  10. 85

A good spell from Kuban which is adding to the tension at the Liberty Stadium.

  11. 84

Great cross from Kozlov is met by Balde who heads onto the roof of the net under pressure from Rangel.

  12. 83

But Kuban do get forward and the ball breaks to Fidler who shoots high and wide from 20 yards.

  13. 82

The hosts are now pressing high again and forcing Kuban to rush their passing.

  14. 81

Michu is caught offside as the Swans look to relieve some of the pressure.

  15. 80

The corner is cleared but the signs are there that the final 10 minutes could be quite anxious for the home side.

  16. 79

Chico does well to get in ahead of Balde after a clever pass from Cisse.

  17. 78

Swansea are looking to keep possession but Kuban are still showing plenty of energy and willingness even in the latter stages.

  18. 77

A warning for the hosts that there is still plenty of work to do before they can celebrate a third win in the group.

  19. 76

Some anxious moments at the back for the hosts with Chico doing well to head clear Kozlov's cross, before Cisse heads wide.

  20. 75

Swansea's change sees Dyer replaced by Roland Lamah.

  21. 74

Kuban's final change sees Ibrahima Balde replace Popov.

  22. 73

Dyer and Rangel are working well down the Swansea right so certainly a god change by manager Laudrup.

  23. 72

Dyer picks out Vazquez in the box but his shot lacks power and it's an easy save for the keeper.

  24. 71

The Swans look bouyant now and are moving the ball about well, but with Cisse up-front there is still always a threat.

  25. 70

Dyer is fouled and the hosts have a free kick 30 yards out and very central. Shelvey's shot is on target but the keeper moves across to huis left to make the save.

  26. 69

The goal should settle Swansea down now and I would expect them to at least double their lead.

  27. 68

Kuban's second change sees Vladislav Ignatiev on for Khubulov.

  28. 67

GOAL! Great passing move from Swansea sees Shelvey play it into Vazquez and he chips the ball to Michu who slips it past the advancing keeper.

  29. 66

Popov is caught offside as Kuban look to hit on the counter.

  30. 65

Rangel's cross is almost met on the volley by Michu 16 yards out but it is blocked.

  31. 64

Armas gives the ball away to Vazquez who finds Shelvey but he is crowded out on the edge of the box.

  32. 63

Chico tries to play in Michu but it's intercepted - good Swansea pressure here.

  33. 62

Michu tries an angled shot form the edge of the box that crashes into the side-netting.

  34. 61

First change for Kuban sees Melgarejo replaced by Romania international Gheorghe Bucur.

  35. 60

Dyer looks to get on the end of a Michu pass but Popov covers his run.

  36. 59

Ruban are forced to hack the ball to safety as Shelvey almost played in Rangel.

  37. 58

Michael Laudrup obviously feels like his side needs some fresh impetus and it has been pretty average from both sides since the break.

  38. 57

Swansea make a double change with Alvaro Vazquez coming on for Bony and Tiendalli replaced by Angel Rangel who gets a huge ovation.

  39. 56

Chico meets Shelvey's resulting corner but his header from close range is blocked.

  40. 55

Swansea attack with Michu looking for Bony and Kozlov has to concede a corner by heading behind.

  41. 54

Alejandro Pozuelo is the latest to give the ball away cheaply and we have the first scrappy phase of the match.

  42. 53

It's Kuban's turn to knock the ball around with some confidence but they are also wasteful and the Swans have a goalkick.

  43. 52

The hosts are enjoying some possession and Canas is fouled giving them a free kick on the halfway line. But after 12 passes it's Canas who wastefully puts the ball out for a throw as he looked for Taylor.

  44. 51

A good turn by Dyer just inside the Kuban half sees him run at goal before finding Michu. He tries to work a shooting opportunity but instead picks out Shelvey who cuts inside but his curling shot hits Armas in the face.

  45. 50

Cisse plays the ball back to Popov on the edge of the box but his shot deflects off Chico for a corner which is cleared.

  46. 49

Dyer tries to link up with Michu, but Armas reads the danger and intercepts.

  47. 48

Kuban force an early corner and it is met by Cisse but his glancing header is easy for keeper Tremmel.

  48. 47

Bony looses a boot straightaway and he's out of the game until he manages to get it back on.

  49. 46

Kuban get the second half started and neither side has made a change at the break.

  50. Nothing to choose between the teams at the interval, but Kuban will feel they probably deserve to be ahead as they have been the better side going forward. Swansea look as though they have still not fully settled which maybe could be attributed to making so many changes but they will look to improve in the second period.

  51. 45

Only 10 seconds added time is played as the teams leave the field after a very decent opening 45 minutes.

  52. 44

Kuban do well to bring the ball clear after being hemmed in close to their own corner flag and Chico plays it back to Tremmel as it is played long.

  53. 43

Another great pass from Shelvey looks for Bony in the box but it's just to strong and goes out for a goalkick.

  54. 42

News from the other match in Group A and Valencia now lead St Gallen 4-0 at the Mestalla.

  55. 41

Swansea have a free kick 30 yards out and central. Shelvey gives it a blast and it's just inches over.

  56. 40

Armas is booked for a crude challenge on Michu.

  57. 39

A red face moment for Khubulov who does some outrageous stepovers but overhits his pass and it goes out for a goalkick to the amusement of the home fans.

  58. 38

Shelvey plays a superb 50-yard pass into the path of Bony but the home striker is adjudged offside.

  59. 37

Chico again gets in a vital interception as Cisse look to get on the end of a Popov pass.

  60. 36

Kozlov takes the resulting free-kick and goes for goal but it's high and wide.

  61. 35

Lorenzo Melgarejo looks to burst clear and is pulled back by Tiendalli. Could it have been a goalscoring opportunity and therefore a red card? Probably not being 35 yards from goal to be fair.

  62. 34

Popov looks to flick the ball on for Cisse, but Chico spots the danger and makes a timely interception.

  63. 33

The hosts attack and the ball comes out to Taylor on the left but he fires well over.

  64. 32

One or two shouts of frustration from the home fans following that, but surely Swansea will improve.

  65. 31

Swansea again give the ball away in the centre circle and Popov tries to play in Cisses but Tremmel gathers.

  66. 30

Khubulov hangs a cross up to the far post where Popov back heels it back into the danger area and Cisse's overhead kick gies wide .... That COULD have been one of the best goals I have ever seen!

  67. 29

I have to say the game has flown over so far so credit to both teams.

  68. 28

A good move from Swansea sees the ball played out to Taylor and he chips it into Bony but he blazes the ball over from the edge of the box.

  69. 27

Tremmel once more has to come off his line to gather as Cisse looked to get on the end of a through ball.

  70. 26

Shelvey finds space in the box, turns but fires an angled shot wide but it's enough to have the home fans singing his name again.

  71. 25

News elsewhere in Group A is that Valencia are leading St Gallen 2-0.

  72. 24

The corner is half cleared but falls for Maksim Zhavnerchik whose dipping shot from 25 yards is fambled over by Tremmel.

  73. 23

A fast counter from Kuban sees Khubulov break and his low cross is put over his own bar by Chico under pressure from Cisse.

  74. 22

Tremmel comes right to the edge of the Swans box to gather as Cisse chased a long ball over the top.

  75. 21

Kuban are now being pressed high inside their own half which the Swans failed to do in the early stages.

  76. 20

The home fans will be heartened even though Shelvey should have done better with the final shot.

  77. 19

Shelvey then breaks and knocks the ball into Bony. He feeds Michu who gives it back to Shelvey but he snatches at his shot from just inside the box and it goes well wide.

  78. 18

Shelvey is now seeing a lot of the ball in the middle and it's a sure sign that the Swans are settling.

  79. 17

Nathan Dyer skips past a couple of challenges but his low shot from the edge of the box lacks power and it's an easy save for the keeper.

  80. 16

Michu wins a good tackle on the edge of the box and it almost breakls for Bony but it's the keeper who gets it.

  81. 15

Swansea are just starting to get a foot in the game after a tricky opening.

  82. 14

Groans from the home crowd as Shelvey tries a one-two with Michu on the edge of the box but it is intercepted by Alexandre Xandao.

  83. 13

Cisse wins the ball back off Amat 20 yards from goal and tries to play it into Popov, but the keeper spots the danger and gathers.

  84. 12

Shelvey plays an ambitious ball from the centre circle with the outside of his foot looking for the run of Michu, but it's too strong and keeper Aleksandr Belenov gathers.

  85. 11

Cisse leads a Ruban counter and feeds the overlapping Kozlov whose low cross is well taken by Swans keeper Gerhard Tremmel.

  86. 10

Armash fouls Bony close to the centre circle and is perhaps fortunate not to be booked for going through the striker from behind.

  87. 9

One or two players have slipped over - tricky pitch or the wrong boots?

  88. 8

Good noise by the smal band of Russian fans who are encouraged by the start their side has made.

  89. 7

The resulting kick is met by Popov whose ambitious back heel goes well wide.

  90. 6

Kuban again win it back and Ivelin Popov has his shot blocked and they earn the first corner of the game.

  91. 5

Charles Kabore runs at the Swansea defence but his intended lay off for Cisse is cut out.

  92. 4

A bright opening from the visitors who are showing they have certainly not travelled 2,500 miles just to roll over.

  93. 3

The home side's Dwight Tiendalli is penalised for a foul and Kuban work it down their right with Arsen Khubulov (wearing the No 90 shirt!) driving over a low cross with no one able to get on the end of it.

  94. 2

Bony is immediately caught offside and Ruban go on the attack with Igor Armas seeing his cross headed clear. But Jordi Amat gives the ball away on the edge of his own box and it falls for Alexey Kozlov who blazes over from 25 yards.

  95. 1

Swansea get us under way and the ground is just about full (well the home sections anyway!) as the hosts continue their European adventure.

  96. Swansea's ability to score freely makes them trustworthy in the handicap betting, having been victorious by more than one goal in all but one of their wins this season, including a 4-0 thumping of Sunderland at the weekend. Sky Bet offer evens on Swansea -1 and 5/2 on -2. Meanwhile, strike duo Wilfried Bony and Michu have shared seven goals between them so far this season and are both 5/1 to score.

  97. Boss Michael Laudrup makes six changes from the weekend victory over Sunderland as Swansea looked to close in on a place in the Europa League knockout stages against Kuban Krasnodar. The Dane, whose side have won their opening two Group A fixtures, brings in goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel, Dwight Tiendalli, Neil Taylor, Jose Canas, Jonjo Shelvey and Alejandro Pozuelo into his starting line-up, while Michu and Wilfried Bony lead the attack. Kuban have former Liverpool, Sunderland and QPR striker Djibril Cisse in their XI as the Russian side look to improve a woeful recent run which had seen them take just one win from their last nine games.

  98. The teams have arrived nice and early and they will line up as follows - Swansea: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Chico, Amat, Taylor, Dyer, Canas, Shelvey, Pozuelo, Michu, Bony. Subs: Vorm, Britton, Lamah, Monk, de Guzman, Rangel, Vazquez. Kuban Krasnodar: Belenov, Kozlov, Xandao, Armas, Zhavnerchik, Khubulov, Kabore, Fidler, Melgarejo, Popov, Cisse. Subs: Bajcora, Dealbert, Tsoraev, Tlisov, Bucur, Ignatiev, Ibra. Referee: Kristinn Jakobsson (Iceland)

  99. Good evening and welcome to our coverage of tonight's Europa League Group A clash between Swansea City and Russian side Kuban Krasnodar at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans have made a terrific start by winning both their games so far against Valencia and St Gallen, and they now take on Kuban who have yet to pick up a point and have conceded four goals in their two matches. As always, we welcome your views so send them to and I'll publish the best ones.
