Toulouse players celebrate after sealing the victory
Toulouse came back from a goal down to defeat 10-man Lorient 3-1 in Ligue 1.
The game was only 24 minutes old when Lorient had Alain Traore sent off but despite that disadvantage they took the lead four minutes before half-time through Wesley Lautoa.
Wissam Ben Yedder levelled the scores just before the hour and further goals through Serge Aurier (73) and Martin Braithwaite (80) sealed the victory for the visitors.
Lorient had the first chance after five minutes when Jeremie Aliadiere laid the ball off to Kevin Monnet-Paquet on the left side of the penalty area but his shot was blocked by Zacharie Boucher.
But the home side suffered a blow when Traore was shown a red card for his nasty tackle on Abel Aguilar.
Lorient again threatened just before the half hour when Aliadiere's curled free-kick from 25 yards nearly caught out Boucher.
But he could do nothing about Lautoa's header from a corner on the left taken by Yann Jouffre.
The second half was only a minute old when Braithwaite set up Aurier inside the penalty area but his shot from close range was somehow blocked by Toulouse-born goalkeeper Fabien Audard.
Toulouse's Etienne Didot then freed Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro but his shot was saved by Audard.
Two minutes later the Lorient keeper could do little as Ben Yedder equalised.
Akpa Akpro shot from the left of the area but his effort, which was off target, was headed in by Ben Yedder.
With 18 minutes to go Toulouse claimed the lead through Aurier.
Eden Ben Basat freed Ben Yedder on the right and he flicked the ball for Aurier who slotted in an easy chance from close range.
Toulouse made sure of the three points when Braithwaite took a pass from Ben Yedder before rounding Audard and slotting the ball into the empty net.
The win moved Toulouse up to 10th in the Ligue 1 table, one place and one point above Lorient.
