Sanel Jahic: The Bosnian defender has left St Johnstone after the end of a short-term deal

St Johnstone will be without Bosnian defender for the game against St Mirren after they were forced to free the 32-year-old at the end of his short-term deal.

Midfielder Gwion Edwards has also returned to parent club Swansea while left-back Brian Easton (hamstring) and forward Steven MacLean (knee) are both absent.

Rory Fallon, who joined the club from Aberdeen last summer, could be coming to the end of his time in Perth after manager Tommy Wright told him he was free to find a new club.

The New Zealand international has played in only a handful of games - mainly as a substitute - and lasted less than two minutes when he was ordered off for an elbow on Aberdeen defender Michael Hector on 7 December.

St Mirren midfielder Kenny McLean will not be involved at McDiarmid Park.

John McGinn misses out with a one-match suspension, but skipper Jim Goodwin returns following his two-game ban.

Winger Gary Teale (groin) could return to action by the end of the month but like fellow long-term absentee David Barron (ankle), will not be involved this weekend.
