Chris Erskine: Back in Jags' colours on Tuesday

Chris Erskine goes straight into Partick Thistle's squad to face St Johnstone on Tuesday after joining on loan from Dundee United for the remainder of the season.

The midfielder left Firhill in the summer to team up with former Jags boss Jackie McNamara at Tannadice but has failed to make the expected impact on Tayside.

Midfielder Stuart Bannigan and left-back Aaron Taylor-Sinclair are suspended, while goalkeeper Scott Fox (heel) will require a late fitness test before boss Alan Archibald finalises his starting line-up.

St Johnstone keeper Alan Mannus has been ruled out of the Glasgow showdown through suspension.

The Northern Irishman, who will be replaced by 41-year-old Steve Banks, is banned for the trip south after seeing red for his part in a mass brawl towards the end of Saints' 3-3 home draw against Hearts last weekend.

And he is joined on the sidelines by midfielder Murray Davidson who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with the knee injury he suffered in the same match.
