Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between York City and Newport County at Bootham Crescent.
York manager Nigel Worthington has a near full-strength squad to choose from for the visit of Newport as his side bid to seal their place in the play-offs. The Minstermen will be guaranteed of a top-seven finish with victory or if Oxford fail to beat Accrington and Worthington has no new injury or suspension worries. Midfielder Lewis Montrose made his first start since January in Monday's win against Bury and Worthington must decide whether to retain him or recall Adam Reed. Midfielder Josh Carson, striker Wes Fletcher and defender Dan Parslow (all knee) will play no further part for the Minstermen this season. Newport will assess Tom Naylor ahead of the trip to York. The Derby loanee twisted his ankle in training last Thursday, an injury which forced the defender to miss the draws with AFC Wimbledon and Burton over the Easter weekend and the Exiles will check on him ahead of kick-off. Last season's top scorer Aaron O'Connor will continue his return to full fitness with another appearance having featured as a substitute in both matches. Jamie Stephens, Byron Anthony and Ismail Yakubu will not feature again this season for Justin Edinburgh's men, who are safe with two games remaining.
