Alex Kenyon: Misses out

Alex Kenyon: Misses out

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Morecambe and Burton Albion at the Globe Arena.

Morecambe midfielder Alex Kenyon begins a suspension as Burton visit the Globe Arena.

Kenyon was dismissed during last week's abandonment at Accrington and now starts a three-match suspension.

There is further bad news in that department because Andy Fleming is expected to miss out with a knee injury he sustained at the Store First Stadium, with boss Jim Bentley unsure on just how serious the issue is at this stage.

Ryan Williams (hamstring) played for the reserves in midweek and could be included while Andy Parrish may return after missing time through illness. Winger Marcus Marshall misses out again with a hamstring problem while captain Mark Hughes will be assessed with a similar problem.

Burton boss Gary Rowett has a full squad to choose from for the trip to Morecambe, with the exception of striker Michael Symes.

The knee injury that has ruled out Symes in recent weeks will continue to do so, although Rowett has signed Gary Alexander and he will hope to be given his full debut after making his Brewers bow from the bench last weekend in the 1-1 home draw with Exeter.

Benji Siegrist has returned to Aston Villa at the end of his loan and Rowett intends to sign a goalkeeper to provide cover for Dean Lyness when the loan window opens on Saturday morning.

Should no signing take place, veteran Kevin Poole will probably again have to step onto the bench - but Albion are hopeful their 50-year-old goalkeeping coach will not be needed.
