York City v Oxford Utd preview

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between York City and Oxford United at Bootham Crescent.

York boss Nigel Worthington will select his side to face leaders Oxford from an unchanged squad. Striker Ryan Bowman sits out the final game of his four-match ban, so Wes Fletcher looks set to continue in attack alongside Ryan Jarvis. Aaron McCarey, on loan from Wolves, will keep his place in goal with Michael Ingham not yet ready to return from the hip injury that has kept him out of the last five matches. Chris Smith (ankle) is not expected to return to training until after the Christmas programme and fellow defender Dan Parslow is out for the rest of the season due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. Oxford have no new injury concerns ahead of the trip to York. Winger Ryan Williams, who has scored four times in his 13 starts for the leaders, will be involved after he extended his loan stay from Fulham until the end of the season. Sean Rigg and Deane Smalley were introduced late on in the 2-1 win over Dagenham last time out and are pushing for starts against the Minstermen. Injured trio Alfie Potter, Jon Meades and Andy Whing (all ankle) remain sidelined until February.
