Image: Paul Tisdale: Has a lot to ponder

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Exeter City and Newport County at St James' Park.

Exeter have no fresh injury worries as they prepare for their first competitive clash with Newport since 1988. Manager Paul Tisdale welcomed back Scot Bennett and John O'Flynn from injuries against Northampton and the pair both got on the scoresheet in a victory which lifted the Grecians to fourth. That victory was City's fourth win from seven in the league this season and O'Flynn is now pushing for a start after his last-minute winner. David Wheeler created that dramatic late goal and the former Staines winger could also come into the reckoning as Tisdale ponders what to do with a fully-fit squad. Newport will be without Christian Jolley for the trip to Exeter. The 25-year-old striker will undergo an operation on his groin injury on Saturday morning and the club expect him to be sidelined for between two to three weeks. Lee Minshull also misses out on the first competitive meeting between the sides since 1988 as he serves the second match of his three-game ban. The Exiles are still without a number of players with Andy Sandell (foot) ruled out until Christmas. Bryan Anthony will not return until 2014 but last season's top scorer Aaron O'Connor is nearing a return. Meanwhile Billy Jones is set to starts against a club where he spent two spells. Jones arrived on a free transfer last week having left Cheltenham and marked his debut for the club with the opening goal.
