    More home comforts for Dons

AFC Wimbledon secured their third home win on the bounce with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Fleetwood Town at Kingsmead.

Harry Pell, 21, opened the scoring with a penalty that sent Scott Davies the wrong way after Mark Roberts handled a corner from George Francomb in the 42nd minute. Michael Smith doubled the lead on the cusp of half-time after a bizarre deflection fell kindly for the on-loan Charlton striker to tuck away his second goal of the campaign. Francomb shot from the edge of the area and Nathan Pond's block sent the ball high into the air before landing in front of Smith, who fired past Davies from inside the six-yard-box. Substitute Jack Midson forced a save from the visiting keeper, who dived low to his left to keep out the goal-bound effort after 65 minutes. Moments later Smith headed a chipped delivery from Barry Fuller inches wide. Despite the comfortable half-time score, the first-half could have ended quite differently. Seconds before the penalty a goal mouth scramble forced Dons keeper Ross Worner to make two close-range saves and his defence chipped in with a clearance off the line.
