Team news for Tuesday's League One clash between Brentford and Tranmere Rovers at Griffin Park.

Brentford will check on Adam Forshaw ahead of the home game against Tranmere. Midfielder Forshaw was taken off as a precaution midway through the second half of Saturday's 2-0 win over Bradford due to a back problem. Striker Marcello Trotta dropped to the bench against the Bantams following his midweek exertions with the Italy Under-21 squad so he is pushing to return to the starting line-up. Defender Harlee Dean is set to miss out again with a groin problem and winger Sam Saunders is still recovering from a knee op. Tranmere captain James Wallace and Junior Brown should overcome minor knocks to feature against Brentford. Both Wallace and fellow midfielder Brown, who only signed last week on loan from Fleetwood, picked up ankle problems in the 3-1 loss to Stevenage at the weekend. The loss against the fellow strugglers leaves Rovers just one point above the drop-zone and stand-in manager John McMahon could, therefore, consider shuffling his pack with Andy Robinson and Jake Kirby amongst those likely to come into consideration. McMahon will be without winger Abdulai Bell-Baggie, possibly for the rest of the season, because of a knee injury.
