Stevenage v Tranmere preview

Image: Filipe Morais: An injury doubt

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Stevenage and Tranmere Rovers at Broadhall Way.

Filipe Morais is Stevenage's only injury doubt ahead of the home game against Tranmere. Winger Morais is struggling to prove his fitness having been sidelined for the last fortnight with a thigh problem. Boss Graham Westley has no other injury concerns but could make changes after admitting his side looked tired during the latter stages of Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Crawley. Sam Wedgbury, Dean Parrett and Peter Hartley will be among those pushing for recalls while striker Lucas Akins will be hoping to keep his place against his former club. Junior Brown could make his Tranmere debut at Stevenage after joining on loan on Thursday. The 24-year-old winger arrived at Prenton Park from League Two club Fleetwood and his versatility means stand-in manager John McMahon could slot him in numerous positions. Rovers' only injury absentee will be winger Abdulai Bell-Baggie, who may not play again this season after sustaining a knee injury in a reserve match. Teenage centre-back Stephen Arthurworrey is expected to continue in defence after extending his loan stay from parent club Fulham earlier this week.
