Sanchez Watt: Misses the clash

Sanchez Watt: Misses the clash

Team news for Tuesday's League Two clash between Colchester United and Sheffield United at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Sanchez Watt continues his suspension as Colchester play host to fellow strugglers Sheffield United.

The forward serves the second game of his three-match ban following his sending-off at Swindon and will also miss this weekend's trip to leaders Leyton Orient.

Gavin Massey stepped in for Saturday's unfortunate 2-1 defeat at home to Preston and could well get the nod once again, with Jabo Ibehre also returning after illness to take his place in the starting XI ahead of Clinton Morrison.

Drey Wright is closing in on his return after knee surgery but fellow long-term absentee Josh Thompson (ankle) remains some way off his comeback.

Sheffield United winger Ryan Flynn is hoping to shake off a knock in time for the game at Colchester.

Flynn scored his fifth goal of the season in the weekend win against Bristol City before being replaced by recent loan signing Ben Davies with 20 minutes to go.

Davies, on loan from Derby until the end of the season, made his second appearance off the bench on Saturday and could make his first start if Flynn fails a late fitness test.

Midfielder Stephen McGinn is still struggling with the back problem that kept him out at the weekend, while boss Nigel Clough is expected to make one or two changes again as the Blades continue their hectic fixture schedule.
