Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Crawley Town and Shrewsbury at Broadfield Stadium.
Crawley will be without Gary Alexander for this weekend's league action. The veteran striker, who has three goals to his name this season, starts a three-game ban after he was sent off against Gillingham last weekend. Emile Sinclair, recently signed from Peterborough, came on as a late sub in the 3-2 win over the Gills and could make his full Town debut in Alexander's absence. Boss Richie Barker can welcome back defender Joe Walsh, who was on international duty with Wales Under-21s last week, while midfielder Mike Jones returns from suspension. Shrewsbury defensive duo Tamika Mkandawire and Dave Winfield are both closing in on their respective returns although the trip to Crawley is expected to come too soon. Captain Mkandawire was forced off early on in Shrews' Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Oldham nursing a hamstring injury while Winfield is yet to feature at all this season due to a similar complaint. Both are nearing their comebacks but this weekend may be too soon, although Winfield is the closer of the two and boasts a possible chance of making the bench. Boss Graham Turner will be hoping both Tom Bradshaw and Graham Burke return fully-fit from their international exploits, while fellow striker John Marsden (foot) remains sidelined.
