  1. That's it! Mark Hughes has a win in his first home game as Stoke City boss. His side did it the hard way, coming from behind at the break to see off a battling Crystal Palace side who had led through Marouane Chamakh. Goals either side of the hour mark from Charlie Adam and Ryan Shawcross turned the game on its head, however, and the Eagles couldn't find an equaliser. 2-1 it ends.

  2. 90+2

Corner to Stoke and a chance to use up a bit of time.

  3. 90+1

Wasteful from Gayle as he shoots well wide from the right corner of the penalty area.

  4. 90

Begovic claims again as Moxey delivers a cross from the left. The fourth official is out with the board....and it's 4 minutes. Can Palace find an equaliser?

  5. 86

Palace free-kick. Moxey takes it long but Begovic takes it superbly to relieve the pressure on the home side.

  6. 85

Stoke should be in but Pennant ball with the outside of his boot is heavy and Jerome can't get there before Speroni.

  7. 84

Peter Crouch makes way for Cameron Jerome. Jerome scored in the FA Cup meeting between the two sides in January.

  8. 82

Phillips and Jedinak over it, Garvan is there too. Jedinak hits but straight into the wall and Stoke clear the ball long.

  9. 82

But here's a chance. Free-kick right on the edge of the Stoke box after Williams is brought down.

  10. 80

Into the last 10 minutes and Palace need a goal. It doesn't seem imminent though.

  11. 78

Dwight Gayle does his best Marco van Basten impression, hitting a volley first time from a tight angle on the right after being picked out by Dikgacoi. He wasn't far away either.

  12. 77

Owen Garvan hits one from 30 yards but it's high and wide. Poor effort and the wrong decision to shoot.

  13. 74

Kevin Phillips joins the action. The 40-year-old is on for Jason Puncheon, who has had a quiet afternoon on the whole. Phillips first action is to shoot wide from outside the box.

  14. 74

Brilliant effort from Steven Nzonzi. Edge of the area and he smashes it across goal, only to see it hit the post and go out for a goal-kick.

  15. 73

Another substitution for Stoke. Charlie Adam is replaced by Glenn Whelan and receives a warm ovation after scoring the hosts first goal.

  16. 72

Williams wants a free-kick right on the edge of the Stoke penalty area but Andre Marriner waves away his protests.

  17. 69

Talked up by the manager this week and now Jermaine Pennant has the chance to repay his manager's faith. He's on for Etherington.

  18. 68

This has been a decent response from Crystal Palace. After a nightmare 5 minutes they have regrouped and are trying to exert some pressure of their own.

  19. 66

Puncheon nearly equalises for the visitors. He cuts in from the left and Begovic just gets down at his near-post and holds it at the second attempt.

  20. 63

Ian Holloway seems to agree. Chamakh replaced by Jonathan Williams whilst Owen Garvan is also introduced, Campana makes way.
