Full-time and Southampton take the points! Rickie Lambert's last minute penalty is enough to give them victory at the Hawthorns. Steve Clarke and his team will be very disappointed after edging the second half. A draw would probably have been a fair result but it's the Saints who get the win and their travelling support can make the long journey back to the south coast happy.
Jamie Ward-Prowse comes off for Jack Cork as the visitors look to run the clock down.
Rickie Lambert steps up and makes no mistake, driving the ball low into the left hand corner of the net. Foster guessed right but had no chance. 1-0 in the final minute of normal time.
Penalty to Southampton! Luke Shaw has been quieter this half but drives into the box and is taken down by Mulumbu!
Double change for West Brom. Matej Vydra is on for Nicolas Anelka and Markus Rosenberg replaces Shane Long.
Mulumbu goes into the book after showing his frustration at a handball decision going against him by bouncing the ball violently into the ground.
Steven Davis comes on for the visitors. The lively Rodriguez is the man to be replaced. Plenty of energy but a lack of end product from the former Burnley man. Sums this match up nicely.
Another booking. This time for Billy Jones as he collides with Jay Rodriguez. Less of a foul than the one he got away with, that's for sure.
Lallana goes off to be replaced by Gaston Ramirez. He'll feel he should have scored the goal to put his side in front - the referee's assistant disagreed.
Ridgewell booked for a foul on Chambers.
Gareth McAuley was booked for the foul on Rodriguez that led to the initial Southampton free-kick.
That's half-time. Hopefully the managers can do something at the break to bring this game to life. It's been frenetic but chances have been few and far between. Southampton perhaps edged it but its goalless after 45 minutes in the Midlands.
@LiamFoxall id rather have seen vydra start with long for albion, see what he can do rather than anelka
Not a bad selection from MP today but not sure if Chambers and Prowsey are good enough yet, would rather Cork and Clyne. Tough game and would take a point. Very worried about Anelka though! Up the Saints!! Ryan, from Salisbury.
@hannahmerrimanx team looks positive, with Lamberts England goal, the team is full of confidence!
