Nice came from behind to beat bottom club Troyes 3-1 and keep the pressure on Lyon for a top-three spot.

Nice came from behind to beat bottom club Troyes 3-1 and keep the pressure on Lyon who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot. Despite trailing to a 21st minute Mohamed Yattara goal, Claude Puel's men clawed their way back thanks to goals from Renato Civelli, Dario Cvitanich and Luigi Bruins. Nice's third win in four takes them level on points with fifth-placed Lille and just three points behind Lyon while Troyes remain rooted to the foot of Ligue 1 six points from safety. Despite dominating the opening exchanges in poor conditions, it was the hosts who found themselves behind from a set piece. Troyes' Benjamin Nivet picked out Yattara at the far post from a corner and the Guinean striker made no mistake with his head to give the visitors a surprise lead. Nice looked to bounce back instantly but Cvitanich just failed to get on the end of a teasing Timothee Kolodziejczak cross. An equaliser eventually came in the 34th minute for Nice when Civelli nodded in from six yards after keeper Yohann Thuram failed to hold Kevin Diaz's volley. Cvitanich found the back of the net on the stroke of half time to put the home side in front. On the counter attack Didier Digard cut in from the left and picked out the Argentinian striker who escaped the attentions of Jeremie Brechet before heading beyond Thuram. Troyes went close to an equaliser in the second half when Jean-Christophe Bahebeck and Julien Faussurier fashioned a shooting chance for Florian Camus but his well struck effort was kept out by Joris Delle. Nivet missed a glorious chance to equalise soon after but when the ball fell to him 12 yards out with the goal at his mercy he could only steer it wide of the post. Despite Cvitanich missing a one-on-one, the hosts managed to secure all three points with just over 10 minutes to play. Gregoire Pule picked out Bruins on the edge of the area and the Dutchman controlled and neatly steered the ball into the opposite corner.
