Jim Goodwin: The Buddies skipper missed last week's 3-0 defeat at Hearts
St Mirren boss Danny Lennon is boosted by the return of Jim Goodwin for the visit of Aberdeen this weekend.
The Buddies skipper missed last week's 3-0 defeat at Hearts after being sent off against Dundee.
He is expected to slot in at the expense of midfielder Kenny McLean, who misses out after his ordering off for foul on Kevin McHattie in the recent defeat at Tynecastle.
Long-term absentees Darren McGregor, David Barron and Thomas Reilly all remain unavailable for the Buddies, who are finally able to breathe a little easier after Dundee's demotion was confirmed last Sunday.
Aberdeen pair Russell Anderson (knee) and Jonny Hayes (ankle) have both returned to training but there is a doubt over Gary Naysmith, who has a hamstring niggle.
Rory Fallon and Peter Pawlett are both suspended, while Derek McInnes has added youngsters Declan McManus, Craig Storie, Cammy Smith and Craig Murray to his matchday squad.
