Scott Brown: Closing in on a first-team return for Celtic

Celtic will be presented with the SPL trophy after the match with St Johnstone on Saturday, live on Sky Sports with a 12.15pm kick-off.

Neil Lennon's side clinched their eighth SPL title last month and have won every home game this year, but they have yet to best Saints in three attempts in the league this term.

Scott Brown will be in the squad; the club captain has not featured for three months - since the Champions League last 16 defeat at Juventus in February - but he is feeling his way back with half an eye on the Cup final in two weeks time.

Lennon said: "His rehab has gone really well, we are delighted with that.

"Obviously with Beram Kayal and Victor Wanyama being suspended (for the cup final), if we can get him up to speed then it is a timely boost for us."

Right-back Adam Matthews and wide-man James Forrest are others hoping to underline their cup final claims but Lassad Nouioui (calf) again misses out.

St Johnstone will be without injured midfielders Mehdi Abeid and Chris Millar as they look to poop the party - and keep their Europa League dream alive.

Ahead of the penultimate round of fixtures, Saints are one point adrift of third-placed Inverness, who remain in pole postion for the final European berth.

Callum and Murray Davidson have shaken off knocks and travel to Glasgow but David Robertson and Jamie Adams remain sidelined.
