Rotherham v Exeter preview

Image: Johnny Mullins: Misses out through suspension

Team news for Tuesday's League Two clash between Rotherham and Exeter at New York Stadium.

Rotherham manager Steve Evans has a selection headache for their home clash with Exeter. Defender Johnny Mullins is suspended following his red card in Saturday's damaging defeat at Morecambe and that leaves Evans with a defensive dilemma as Mark Bradley (foot), Liam Ridehalgh (thigh) and Claude Davis (dead leg) are also out. Midfielder Lee Frecklington is unlikely to feature as he still battles with a virus that has kept him out of the last two games, while Danny Kearns (Achilles) is also expected to be out, with Evans unlikely to name a full 18-man squad. Kari Arnason is likely to drop into defence alongside Craig Morgan, while top scorer Daniel Nardiello is hoping for a recall having been left out of the 2-1 loss at the Globe Arena. The Millers are on a terrible run of form which has undermined their automatic promotion bid, having won two of their last nine games. Exeter expect to have Jamie Cureton available. The Grecians' top scorer, 27, missed the 1-0 defeat to Dagenham, the club's third defeat in a row, after failing to overcome the knock he picked up against Rochdale. But the veteran is expected to return to the attack as sixth play seventh in League Two. However, boss Paul Tisdale is likely to be without the services of Kevin Amankwaah, who has gone for a scan on his ankle after being forced off in the opening stages on Saturday. Amankwaah had replaced Steve Tully in the team and, with the full-back still sidelined with a broken toe, Aaron Dawson is now set to get the nod to come into defence.
