Alfie Potter: Set to deputise in the absence of Justin Richards

Team news for Tuesday's League Two clash between Oxford United and Fleetwood at the Kassam Stadium.

Oxford will assess Justin Richards in the build up to the clash with Fleetwood as they look to end a run of four games without a win.

The on-loan Burton striker was forced off after just 34 minutes following a heavy collision in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers at the Kassam.

Alfie Potter, his replacement last weekend, could get the nod from the start if Richards is ruled out.

Josh Parker looked lively after his substitute appearance and he could be pushing for a start while Lewis Montrose, who made his first home start on Saturday, is likely to be involved again.

Striker Tom Craddock has been missing with a groin injury and Peter Leven is sidelined until April after undergoing knee surgery while Andy Whing returned to the matchday squad after recovering from his ankle injury.

Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander will run the rule over Gareth Evans and Shaun Beeley ahead of Tuesday's encounter.

Winger Evans made way for Ryan Crowther at half-time during last weekend's 2-2 draw with Bradford and sat out of his side's 1-0 victory over Torquay. He is rated at 50/50 for the clash.

Beeley, who also missed the win at Plainmoor with a leg injury, faces a late fitness test.

Midfielder Barry Nicholson missed out against the Gulls following more problems with a persistent back complaint and will be assessed ahead of kick-off.

Centre-back Youl Mawene (foot) continues is rehabilitation but is not ready for first-team action.

Alexander's men will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to four league matches as they continue their march up the League Two table.
