AC Milan eased to a 3-0 victory over Reggina in the last-16 of the Coppa Italia on Thursday, booking them a date with Juventus in the next round. The five-time winners of the competition were kept at bay by second tier opponents until six minutes into the second half, but ended up easing to a comfortable success on home soil. Mario Yepes broke the deadlock on 51 minutes, nodding home Urby Emanuelson's cross after Robinho had seen an effort brilliantly blocked on the line. With Milan up and running, Massimiliano Allegri opted to give M'Baye Niang an opportunity to impress, and he grabbed his chance with both hands. The Frenchman doubled the Rossoneri's lead on 79 minutes by cooly slotting past Davide Facchin. Milan then put the result beyond doubt two minutes later with Giampaolo Pazzini spun inside the box and fired high into the corner of the net. Reggina attempted to stage a late rally, but their efforts were to no avail and it is Milan who will face Serie A leaders Juventus in the next round.
