FULL-TIME: European champions Chelsea will meet South American champions Corinthians in the final after dispatching Monterrey at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama. Juan Mata opened the scoring following a delightful move and they came out firing in the second half, scoring a quick-fire double by Fernando Torres and an unfortunate own goal from Darvin Chavez. Aldo De Nigris scored a late consolation, but Rafa Benitez would have been delighted with his side's overall performance. They'll now hope to become Club World Cup champions for the first time in their history on Sunday.

Chelsea are now 1/10 to claim victory with our friends @Skybet, who make Monterrey 25/1 and the draw 7/1 after 90 minutes. Chelsea to win 4-0 is 12/1, while a 4-1 scoreline is 18/1. Eden Hazard to score next is 8/1 while Oscar to score next is a 9/1 shout. Fernando Torres to score next and Chelsea to win 2-0 12/1. Juan Mata to score next and the Blues to win 3-0 14/1. My pre-match prediction of 3-0, which was priced at 9/1 is now 9/2. Head now to SKYBET to place your bets on this match.

HALF-TIME: Chelsea are in charge against Monterrey at the International Stadium in Yokohama. David Luiz has been exceptional in his new midfield role while Juan Mata and Eden Hazard have looked sharp. They deservedly took the lead through Mata after 17 minutes following a superb move involving Oscar and Ashley Cole down the left. Jesus Corona and striker Aldo De Nigris have been the biggest threat for the Mexican outfit.

KBalazs agrees with most Blues fans: 'I think David Luiz deserves the midfield place for a long time because he has all the abilities (flair, attacking skills, pace) for that. But looking at the bench maybe it is not the best time for that because some injuries at the back four can cause troubles I guess.'
-
Lots of you Blues fans seem happy to see Luiz playing in this midfield role this morning. Umar Abd says: 'If David Luiz plays a more disciplined game from midfield then Chelsea should win this easily. Good luck to them!'
-
Kevin Moore writes in from Thetford: 'I am pleased David Luiz is being used in the midfield role, I believe he has a lot to offer in this position and it will be a very useful creative adjustment. Otherwise I think the team selects itself and it is the strongest line up available for Rafa at this time.'
-
Dean Hains is happy to see David Luiz playing in the middle of the park: He says: 'Hi, it's about time some one listened to the Chelsea fans by putting Luiz into midfield could be his best place fit the team wann see Moses and Marin playing come on.' Would you Chelsea fans like to see more of Victor Moses and Marko Marin? Email Raz...that's me! at razwan.mirza@bskyb.com or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish as many as I can.

Asemota Osariemen says: 'I just pray there is understanding between Luiz and Mikel in the midfield pack. I would have preferred Lamps with Mikel in that position.' Maybe Rafa Benitez is happy to experiment with his system and feels this side is strong enough to reach Sunday's final without the need to bring on Frank!?

Chelsea are 4/9 to claim victory with our friends @Skybet, who make Monterrey 13/2 and the draw 100/30. Fernando Torres to score two or more goals (90 minutes only) is worth a bet at 11/2 while Oscar to score first and either Chelsea to win 2-0 or 2-1 is a 20/1 shout. Meanwhile, David Luiz is a 14/1 shot to score first. I'm hedging my bets and going for an easy Chelsea win this morning, despite the jet lag- 3-0, which is priced at 9/1. Head now to SKYBET to place your bets on this match.
