  1. Thanks for joining us tonight. Stay us for a full match report, reaction from both camps and the draw for the semi-finals.

  2. 90+3

Marriner brings the contest to a close, with Chelsea safely through to the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup after a devastating second-half display.

  3. 90+2

Oscar attempts to turn Green inside and out, but the Leeds man stands his ground and the home side clear.

  4. 90

Two additional minutes will be played.

  5. 87

Elland Road is rapidly emptying now, but Leeds fans should be proud of the efforts of their side, they simply came up against a superior outfit.

  6. 84

Ashdown does well to parry another Lampard effort, but Hazard is on hand to turn the ball back into the box where Torres simply cannot miss from close range.

  7. 83

    GOAL!!! Fernando Torres taps home.

  8. 82

Some Leeds fans have seen enough and head for the exits. The scoreline is probably harsh on the home side, but the pass from Luiz and finish from Hazard were pure class.

  9. 81

GOAL!!! Great ball from Luiz and Eden Hazard makes no mistake with a cool finish.

  10. 79

White forces a corner from Azpilicueta, but Tonge's ball in is half fisted away by Cech before his defence clears.

  11. 78

Good effort from Oscar from the edge of the box but it slams straight into Ashdown and he holds on comfortably.

  12. 77

Another wasted effort from the corner, much to the disappointment of the majority of the 33,816 in attendance.

  13. 76

Good ball in from McCormack, but Becchio cannot take advantage, with Tonge's follow-up shot deflected behind for a corner.

  14. 74

Bertrand's evening is over, with Ashley Cole sent on in his place. Not a bad deputy.

  15. 73

Bertrand is limping off for treatment, with the game continuing in his absence.

  16. 73

In fact, it is a double switch, with Ross McCormack coming on for Diouf.

  17. 72

Another change from Warnock, as Michael Brown makes way for David Norris.

  18. 70

Bertrand goes into the book, only the second caution of the night.

  19. 69

The good and the bad of Fernando Torres in the space of five seconds. He executes a beautiful turn to lose the defender out on the left only to waste a glorious chance to find a team-mate in the box with a woeful pass.

  20. 68

Leeds make a change, with Aidy White coming on for Thomas.

  21. 67

A devastating spell from Chelsea, who take the lead when Ivanovic headed home Lampard's corner at the near post, and with Leeds still reeling, Moses linked up well with Mata before drilling a 25 yard shot home beyond Ashdown at his near post.

  22. 66

  23. 64

  24. 64

Mata and Hazard combine well out on the right, with the latter's cross just head of Torres and turned behind by Byram.

  25. 63

Ashdown is called into action again and does well to deal with a dipping, bouncing, long-range effort from distance which he gathers at the first attempt.

  26. 61

Diouf fires another free-kick into the Chelsea area, but the Blues hack it clear.

  27. 60

First change for Chelsea with Eden Hazard coming on for Marin.

  28. 59

Azpilicueta advances down the right and swings over a cross to the far post which Torres heads goalwards, with Ashdown making an unorthodox but effective save.

  29. 56

Moses surges away down the left and puts a low ball into the box, only to see it go behind Torres with Leeds able to clear. Very open feel to the game now.

  30. 55

Tonge bursts towards the Chelsea area and attempts to find Green, but overhits his pass and the Blues clear.

  31. 54

Torres attempts to work some space on the right with some clever footwork, but only succeeds in putting the ball out of play.

  32. 50

That strike has really quietened the home support down from the noise levels of the first period, but they are still attempting to urge their side on in the driving West Yorkshire rain.

  33. 47

After all his good work in the first half, Ashdown has a moment to forget at the start of the second. Mata's first-time shot looks to be fairly routine for the keeper, but he allows it to slip under his hand and into the net. Perfect start for Chelsea.

  34. 47

  35. 46

Leeds get the second half under way.

  36. The two teams are back out for the second half.

  37. 45+4

The half-time whistle goes with Leeds 1-0 up after Becchio's goal on the break and against the run of play in the 37th minute.

  38. 45+3

Another Chelsea corner is cleared by the Leeds defence.

  39. 45+2

Yet another good save from Ashdown, one-handed and low down to his left after Frank Lampard's vicious dipping free-kick from long range.

  40. 45+1

Three additional minutes will be played.

  41. 45

Leeds go close to a second as Diouf's cross from the left is headed inches over the bar by Lees. Poor defending by Chelsea.

  42. 43

Moses has the ball in the net after being played in by Torres, but sees his celebrations cut short by the assistant's flag, which went up against the Spaniard earlier in the move.

  43. 41

Azpilicueta finds some space on the right of the box but blazes over with team-mates waiting in the middle.

  44. 41

Good save from Ashdown, as he gets down well to his right to push away a bouncing low shot from Frank Lampard from the edge of the area.

  45. 40

Chelsea had looked comfortable up until that point, but now have it all to do.

  46. 38

What a moment for Leeds as they take the lead against the European champions. David Luiz gave the ball away in Leeds' half with Byram's header away being fed out to Thomas on the left flank, with his low ball into the box expertly steered home by Becchio. Elland Road is rocking now.

  47. 37

  48. 36

Lees knocks a long ball towards the Chelsea area which Luiz ducks under and Cech comes out to gather.

  49. 35

Ivanovic is allowed to advance towards the Leeds box and he accepts the open invitation to shoot from 25 yards, but fires well over the bar.

  50. 34

Half a chance for Leeds as Diouf receives a throw near the corner flag and flights over a cross which Paul Green is unable to meet cleanly as he heads down, with Cech able to gather.

  51. 32

Another spell of Chelsea pressure, with Marin's corner only half cleared before Luiz's shot is blocked.

  52. 30

Diouf's kick is a complete waste and is headed away by Torres at the near post.

  53. 30

Oscar tracks back well to cut out Becchio's attempted cross as Leeds force a corner.

  54. 28

Ivanovic slips as he attempts to clear and Leeds sense an opening, but Luiz is quickly across to clear the danger.

  55. 26

Great feet from Mata to send Brown onto his backside before his shot is headed away for a corner by Pearce, with Leeds again clearing their lines. Chelsea are increasing the pressure.

  56. 23

Bertrand receives the ball out on the left and finds Moses, who tumbles in the box, but nothing is given. Play continues and Moses forces an excellent save out of Ashdown, diving away to his left following a powerful shot from the edge of the area.

  57. 20

Brown is down, holding his face and Marriner halts play. Replays show there was a coming together with Mata, but nothing significant.

  58. 19

Diouf's free-kick is met by the head of Pearce with his back to goal, but he cannot direct his effort on target.

  59. 18

Michael Brown is tripped by Oscar in midfield after getting away from Lampard. The Leeds man reckons a yellow card should have been forthcoming, but Marriner disagrees.

  60. 17

Ivanovic under-hits a backpass towards Cech and looks to have let Thomas in, but the goalkeeper saves his defender by racing off his line to clear.

  61. 16

Chelsea go close with the aid of a big deflection. Moses' cross is recycled by Mata, with Marin's ball back into the box cleared against Lampard and just ahead of the lurking Torres.

  62. 15

Diouf swings the free-kick in and Becchio meets it, but it is very easy for Cech to claim.

  63. 15

Lampard goes into the book after going through the back of Diouf to win the ball. Marriner initially played on before some advice from his assistant.

  64. 14

Lampard flights a dangerous free-kick into the Leeds box which Becchio is back to head behind for a corner. Ivanovic is beaten to the ball at the near post and Leeds break.

  65. 12

Becchio is holding his face after tangling with Luiz, but play goes on before the Brazilian is unfairly halted by Michael Brown's pull. The two square up briefly, before the Leeds man breaks into a smile. Simmering tensions...

  66. 11

Diouf's deep free-kick is met by Becchio beyond the far post, but his header lacks power and is wayward across the face of goal.

  67. 10

Late challenge from Lampard on Byram earns Leeds a free-kick in a decent position out on the left.

  68. 9

Poor ball from Bertrand puts Luiz under pressure, but the Brazilian shows some good footwork to get out of trouble and clear his lines.

  69. 7

Chelsea are equally keen to gain possession and are putting Leeds under pressure when they do have the ball. Good, sharp, start to this contest.

  70. 6

Oscar attempts a shot from outside the box which Lees blocks, before Victor Moses is found by his team-mate, with his powerful low drive is beaten away by Ashdown for a corner, which comes to nothing.

  71. 5

Torres receives the ball in his own half and looks to make progress, but is stopped immediately by a good sliding challenge from Lees.

  72. 4

Diouf turns away from Ivanovic but his attempted cross is gathered by Becchio. Leeds are snapping into the challenges and giving Chelsea no time to settle on the ball.

  73. 3

Great ball from Lampard to find Marin out on the right. His cross into the box causes confusion, only for Mata to be penalised for handball.

  74. 1

Leeds are quickly onto Chelsea and steal the ball, before Thomas' attempted cross is guided out for a throw.

  75. 1

Chelsea get the game under way.

  76. Nice to see a pre-match handshake between Benitez and Warnock after their previous disagreements.

  77. Every available seat at Elland Road is taken tonight and there is plenty of noise coming from the supporters as the pre-match handshakes take place.

  78. If you fancy a flutter on tonight's contest, our friends at Sky Bet have a host of markets available. Leeds are on offer at 4/1, Chelsea are the 8/13 favourites and the draw after 90 minutes is 16/5.

  81. OK, just five minutes to go until kick-off here at a very wet Elland Road on what promises to be an enthralling evening.

  82. Rafa Benitez tells Sky Sports in his pre-match interview: 'We will try and do our best from the first minute. It is always important to win every trophy. Everyone is aware of the history.'

  83. Leeds boss Neil Warnock knows the opening exchanges will be crucial as he tells Sky Sports: 'We don't want to make a fool of ourselves, so we want to start in the right way.'

  88. Leeds have made three changes to their side from the one which beat Ipswich 2-0 on Saturday, with regular cup goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown starting in place of Paddy Kenny and Jason Pearce and Michael Brown taking the field instead of Alan Tate and David Norris.

  89. Chelsea starting XI: Cech; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Bertrand; Lampard; Moses, Mata, Oscar, Marin; Torres.

  90. Leeds starting XI: Ashdown; Byram, Lees, Pearce, Peltier; Green, Tonge, Brown, Thomas; Becchio, Diouf.

  91. It is, however, just the fourth League Cup meeting between the two teams, with Chelsea triumphing twice and one draw.

  92. There have been 101 meetings between the two teams in all competitions over the years, with Leeds emerging victorious on 39 occasions, Chelsea triumphing 33 times with 29 draws.

  93. This is the first meeting between these two fierce rivals since May 2004, when Leeds bid farewell to the Premier League with a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
