Team news ahead of Saturday's FA Cup first-round clash between Bournemouth and Dagenham & Redbridge at Dean Court.
Bournemouth are waiting to discover whether on-loan Southampton forward Lee Barnard can feature in their cup tie. The 28-year-old has scored four times since the Cherries borrowed the striker from their neighbours and if Eddie Howe is not granted permission to select the former Southend man, it could open the door for Wes Thomas to make a comeback. The striker returned from a one-month loan spell at Portsmouth this week, having scored three times in seven appearances, and is in contention to face his former club. Richard Hughes remains on the sidelines while long-term absentees Charlie Sheringham (foot), Darryl Flahavan (shoulder) and Stephen Purches (broken leg) are not available. The last meeting between the sides, in the Carling Cup last season, saw Bournemouth run out 5-0 winners. Dagenham boss John Still boasts a fully-fit squad for the first time since April. Striker Josh Scott and midfielder Billy Bingham made their returns from knee and abductor injuries respectively to feature for the club's reserves in midweek and are both battling for a place on the bench. And with no other injury or suspension concerns Still is afforded the rare luxury of a fully-fit squad. Michael Spillane, however, does remain one booking away from an automatic one-match suspension. The Daggers pit their wits against their League One opponents having never previously tasted victory at Dean Court.
