Stefano Mauri rescued a point for Lazio as they laboured to a 1-1 draw against visiting Torino at Stadio Olimpico. The guests took the lead after just 10 minutes when Kamil Glik headed home but Champions League chasing Lazio restored parity thanks to Mauri's 57th-minute effort. The result takes the Biancocelesti's winless run to three games in all competitions, while Torino have drawn three of their last four matches. The opening goal came from the first serious chance of the night, Alessandro Sgrigna's cross finding Glik in the centre and the Pole converting. Lazio found their feet thereafter, Miroslav Klose sending a shot over the crossbar before a fine chance for Mauri in the 27th minute. Mauri collected Antonio Candreva's wonderful pass, rounded Jean-Francois Gillet but forced himself into too tight an angle and could not slot home. Tommaso Rocchi was also close for Lazio, sliding his shot just wide after 37 minutes. Torino were creating little themselves but were not punished by the time half-time was called. A rare attacking foray materialised for them in the 55th minute, Sgrigna crossing and Mauro Santana's header needing a smart save from Albano Bizarri. Then, just two minutes later, the equaliser arrived. Candreva provided the assist and Mauri was on hand to finish with a low shot that too a touch off the post on its way over the line. Lazio were pushing for the winner for the rest of the game but were not able to force the win. Rocchi shot wide soon after Mauri's effort and Candreva ballooned a shot high over the crossbar. Klose also spurned an injury-time chance, while Bizarri saved from Rolando Bianchi when Torino made their own bid for victory.
