1. Malaysia XI 1 Arsenal 2. All over and the Gunners claim a narrow success. They left it very late and were far from their best, but they have opened their tour of Asia with a win and that is all that matters.

   Final few seonds being played out. Malaysia on the ball, but they have nothing left in the tank. Arsenal pulling everyone back. The referre then gets a touch. Nice of him to get involved.

   Arsenal now taking their foot off the gas. They have done enough...just. Youngster have stepped off the bench to make a difference, which bodes well.

   Cruel on the hosts, who have offered plenty to the game. Once Arsenal got one there was always a chance Malaysia would fold.

   Malaysia XI 1 Arsenal 2. The game is turned on its head inside the final few minutes. Aneke bundles his way through and forces the ball into the back of the net via the aid of a deflection.

   Wenger will be happy to have avoided defeat and will be looking for more. Always nice to pick up victories, even during pre-season.

   Arsenal could win this yet. They force two corners in quick succession. Eisfeld takes both, but is unable to pick out a team-mate with either. Malaysia out on their feet.

   Malaysia XI 1 Arsenal 1. Brilliant pass from Song opens Malaysia up. As the ball is cut back from the by-line, Eisfeld arrives on cue to smash the ball into the back of the net.

    Bartley looking for options. He picks out Miyaichi with a great pass. He is held up, forcing the Gunners backwards. Visitors probing.

    Oxlade-Chamberlain takes matters into his own hands. He is all alone against six defedners but makes his way into the penalty area. He is forced a little wide, though, and can't get a shot away. Great pace and balance from the youngster.

    Azmi Muslim, who could be the match winner, forced to make way as Rahman comes on in his place. Can he help the hosts to see this out?

    Three changes for the hosts - Samsudin on in place of Kunanlan, Samah makes way for Bakhtiar and Ali replaces Sali. For Arsenal, Walcott gives Eisfeld a run out.

    Sali forces another save from Mannone. He broke into the box with a late run but was always struggling to force the ball into the net from a tight angle. A second goal now would settle the tie.

    Oxlade-Chamberlain dances to the by-line again. He looks up and dinks the ball into the box, but he has nothing to aim at and Farizal can claim under no pressure at all.

    Have to point out that Arsenal are without Van Persie, Podolski and Giroud here. RVP looks to be going, but the other two will be expected to lead the line next season.
