  1. Thanks for all your comments today folks! Don't forget, you can always follow me on Twitter: @RazMirza to send me your views so speak to you all soon!

  2. FULL-TIME: Two wins in three for Michael Laudrup's side ahead of a busy December schedule. Michu struck the opener early before Wayne Routledge bagged a brace. Romelu Lukaku pulled one back in first-half stoppage time, but it wasn't enough in the end for Steve Clarke's men who lose for the first time in five games and drop down to fourth in the Premier League standing following Chelsea home draw against Fulham.

  3. 90+3

YELLOW CARD: Billy Jones is booked for pulling Wayne Routledge back.

  4. 90+2

Chris Brunt fails to collect a pass and he looks a disconsolate figure walking back.

  5. 90+1

Leon Britton, who has also impressed, finds Chico Flores, but he gives the ball away.

  6. 90

Three added minutes are being added and the home supporters are making quite a noise now.

  7. 89

Steve Clarke hasn't made any changes tonight, which is slightly strange. His side have Stoke, West Ham and Norwich to come in coming weeks.

  8. 88

The slick Swans are back in possession and look to find the run of Ki, but he's just offside.

  9. 87

Looks like it's game over for the Baggies as Swansea search for a fourth goal in this game.

  10. 85

SUBSTITUTION: Michu is replaced by Kemy Agustien for Swansea.

  11. 84

As things stand, Albion will drop to fourth in the Premier League table with Chelsea being held at home by Fulham.

  12. 83

The South Wales side play it short as they look on course for their third home win of the season.

  13. 82

Claudio Yacob brings down Luke Moore and Swansea win a free-kick from the angle about 27-yards out.

  14. 81

Gareth McAuley's pass to Billy Jones is very poor and he apologies to his team-mate for that.

  15. 80

Albion haven't won five top-flight games in a row since winning six in a row in March-April 1979 and it doesn't look as though they're going to pull off the great escape at the Liberty Stadium now.

  16. 79

Youssouf Mulumbu and Wayne Routledge clash in the middle of the park and time is running out for Steve Clarke's men as he looks on.

  17. The odds are still stacked against the Baggies salvaging anything here, with the draw now 25/1 with Sky Bet. We go 4/5 for no more goals to be scored.

  18. 77

Claudio Yacob chips the ball up from the angle for Odemwingie, but he's unable to take it down.

  19. 75

SO CLOSE! Swansea win a free-kick and Chris Brunt is lucky he's not shown a second yellow. Sung-Yueng Ki sends his right-foot curler into the side netting from 25-yards.

  20. 74

SUBSTITUTION: Jonathan De Guzman is on the field for the departed Pablo Hernandez.

  21. 72

GOOD SAVE! Michu collects the ball on the edge of the box and his immediate strike at goal is palmed away by Boaz Myhill.

  22. 70

A crowd of 20,377 are enjoying this encounter at the Liberty Stadium as Pablo Hernandez pulls up with a hamstring problem.

  23. 69

CHANCE! Ki's ball is long, but Hernandez clips the ball in for Michu, who heads just wide of goal. Unlucky!

  24. 68

Swansea win a corner and Routledge's cross is deflected away for another corner from the other side.

  25. 66

Replays show Ridgewell handled it just outside the area, so it should have been a free-kick at the very least.

  26. 65

Swansea fans are raging as Liam Ridgewell definitley handles the ball from Rangel's cross, but Lee Mason waves away appeals once again!

  27. 64

Now Peter Odemwingie twists and turns before unleashing his shot, which is still flying over the crossbar.

  28. 63

Youssouf Mulumbu leans on Michu, but it's the striker who is penalised.

  29. 62

SUBSTITUTION: Former West Brom star Luke Moore replaces Nathan Dyer.

  30. 60

Michael Laudrup looks set to make his first change of the game as Gareth McAuley is caught by Michu.

  31. 59

Rangel looks to whip his right-foot cross into Dyer, but it's well cut out.

  32. 58

Far more purpose from Albion now, who are dominating possession since the change in formation. It's a game of two halves as they say!

  33. 56

CHANCE! What a clearance by Ashley Williams as he stretches out to prevent the cross reaching Odemwingie and what would have been a certain goal.

  34. 55

Jonas Olsson claims his header came off a Swansea player and replays show he was correct. The defender is clearly unhappy with referee Mason tonight.

  35. 54

James Morrison wins his side a corner now as Lukaku calls for some noise from the Albion contingent behind the goal.

  36. 53

Big claims of a penalty from Swansea supporters as Wayne Routledge's cross looked to have hit a hand. Hopeful claims!

  37. 51

YELLOW CARD: Lee Mason isn't happy with Jonas Olsson's attitude as the Swede mouths off at him.

  38. 50

Albion are now dictating play in a 4-4-2 formation, which should make for an interesting half.

  39. 49

Sloppy play from the Swans at the start of this half as Chris Brunt hits a speculative shot which is always rising above the crossbar.

  40. 48

CHANCE ALBION! Romelu Lukaku slices his left-foot shot wide of the mark after good pressure from defender Ashley Williams.

  41. 46

The second half is underway at the Liberty Stadium and Albion are already pressing high up the park.

  42. Sky Bet are also offering 7/2 for there to be no more goals in this game. Worth a few quid in my book!

  43. Don't forget, if you'd like to air your views during the second half, email Raz...that's me! at or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish as many as I can.

  44. Swansea are now 1/16 to claim victory with @Skybet, who make West Brom 33/1 and the draw 10/1. My 1-1 draw is out of the window, but why not get on 3-3, which is a very tasty 12/1. Head now to SKYBET to place your bets on this match.

  45. HALF-TIME: An thouroughly entertaining first 45 minutes at the Liberty Stadium. Swansea started like a house on fire and were three up inside the opening 39 minutes with Wayne Routledge scoring a brace and Michu also on target. However, a goal deep in stoppage time from Romelu Lukaku has given Albion a lifeline. Should make for a very interesting second half!

  46. Lifeline for the Baggies as Chris Brunt's inswinging corner kick is flicked on by Swansea's Sung-Yueng Ki for Lukaku who smashes his right-foot volley past a crowd of players and into the back of the onion bag. Game on!?

  48. 45+1

We're into two added minutes of stoppage time at the Liberty Stadium.

  49. 45

YELLOW CARD: Chris Brunt is deservedly booked for a late sliding tackle on Nathan Dyer. That could easily have been a straight red!

  50. 43

CHANCE! Great move again by Swansea as Wayne Routledge picks out Hernandez and his cross should have been slotted home at the back post by Michu, but he fails to make decent contact.

  51. 42

Ashley Williams, Angel Rangel and Sung-Yueng Ki combine well.

  52. 41

How can you say this is bias commentary John, when Albion are being taught a lesson in how to play possession football by Swansea. It's in the same mould of Barcelona in terms of rhythm and pace!

  53. What an incredible performance by Swansea in this first-half. Pablo Hernandez finds Ben Davies down the left and his low cross is powered under Boaz Myhill by Routledge, who bags his second goal of the night.

  54. 39

  55. 37

The ball then comes back to Dyer, who is brought down in the area by Brunt's poor challenge. However, Lee Mason waves away appeals. Replays show otherwise!

  56. 35

Nathan Dyer cuts the ball back to Pablo Hernandez, but his strike towards goal is well blocked.

  57. 33

Liam Ridgewell is in the Swansea half and looks to clip the ball over Chico Flores, but the defender clears well.

  58. 31

Swansea have won three of the last four league meetings with West Brom and look and course to adding to that as the visitors enjoy a bit of possession.

  59. 30

Odemwingie - who has been Albion's leading scorer in the past two seasons - hasn't combined at all with Romelu Lukaku, who looks a lost soul on his own up front tonight.

  60. 29

Peter Odemwingie drags his left-foot shot wide of the target and that's West Brom's first real shot in anger in this match.

  61. 28

Steve Clarke looks like he might be making a change before the break with Shane Long - 7 goals this season - warming up!

  62. 27

The Albion have hardly travelled into the Swansea half of the field as Dyer wins his side a throw.

  63. 26

Swansea have had 77% possession in the last five minutes, which really shows their dominance.

  64. 25

Youssouf Mulumbu is a lucky man as he slides through Wayne Routledge and should be in the book. Lee Mason decides otherwise however, although the look in Mulumbu's bulging eyes was priceless.

  65. 24

Michu has been lively tonight Wayne and now the crowd are giving them the old 'Ole, Ole' as they pass the ball around the park.

  66. 22

Albion are looking to win a fifth consecutive top-flight game for the first time in 34 years, but they'll happily take a point from this game if you were to ask Steve Clarke now.

  67. 20

Romelu Lukaku jumps into his man and Lee Mason calls Chris Brunt towards him for some stern words.

  68. 18

The men in white are back in possession though and Ki has a pop from 30-yards, but he doesn't make good contact and the ball drifts wide.

  69. 17

Pablo Hernandez's delivery isn't the best, which allows the Baggies to clear their lines.

  70. 16

Rangel finds Ki and now Routledge is caught by Brunt just outside the box after some nice footwork by the winger.

  71. 15

Hernandez is on a hat-trick of assists and he is dominating Albion's 4-2-3-1 formation, which clearly isn't working.

  72. 14

This has been a joy to watch this evening from a Swansea side that are on fire!

  73. 13

YELLOW CARD: Gareth McAuley is booked by referee Lee Mason for a late tackle. Albion seemed to have lost their concentration as well as their discipline here.

  74. Two goals in the space of three minutes at the Liberty Stadium. And Hernandez is involved again as his left-foot cross is hammered against Routledge by Jonas Olsson and into the back of the net. Routledge seemed rather embarrassed after scoring that goal!

  75. 11

  76. Do you have to ask? It's that man again..Michu! He scores his 8th goal of the season for Swansea after a well worked move. Nathan Dyer's cross finds Pablo Hernandez and he fires the ball across for his fellow Spaniard to fire home from close-range.

  77. 9

  78. 7

Pablo Hernandez finds Ben Davies out wide, but the full-back's delivery leaves a lot to be desired.

  79. 5

Michu is looking lively early on as he darts inbetween defenders, but is unable to reach the ball.

  80. 4

Albion, wearing red shirts and black shorts and socks now win a throw down in Swansea territory.

  81. 3

I think Boaz Myhill did have his angles covered, but this has been a promising start from the Swans. A flying start you could say!

  82. 2

OFF THE POST!!! It's another full house at the Liberty Stadium as Swansea come close immediately. Pablo Hernandez finds Michu with a clever pass but the striker's left-foot strike hits the base of the post from an acute angle.

  83. 1

Swansea have lost just one of their last seven Premier League games and it's the men in white who get the game underway against a side in third place.

  84. 19:43

We're moments away from kick-off so don't forget, if you'd like to air your views during the match, email Raz...that's me! at or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish as many as I can.

  85. Sky Bet make the home side favourites at 5/4 for the win, while in-form West Brom can be backed at 2/1. With four draws in seven games at the Liberty Stadium already this season, though, the draw at 5/2 looks a good price ahead of kick-off. The Swans have scored 10 and conceded nine at home this year, and both teams to score is odds-on (4/6). The high-flying Baggies are looking for a fifth straight win, but they've kept just one clean sheet in their last eight league games, making a 0-0 draw somewhat unlikely at 12/1. I'm hedging my bets and going for a 1-1 draw, which is priced at a steady 11/2. Head now to SKYBET to place your bets on this match.

  86. 19:27

Third-placed West Brom have Youssouf Mulumbu back in their side after a hamstring problem, while Jonas Olsson has shrugged off a calf complaint. Romelu Lukaku is preferred to Shane Long in attack.

  87. 19:26

Swansea manager Michael Laudrup restores Ki Sung-yueng and Nathan Dyer to his starting line-up. Ki impressed as a substitute in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool and came in for Itay Shechter as Michu again moved up front, while Dyer replaced Jonathan de Guzman, who is only fit enough for a place on the bench due to a hamstring problem.

  88. SWANSEA: Tremmel, Rangel, Williams, Chico, Davies, Britton, Hernandez, Ki, Dyer, Routledge, Michu.

  89. SUBSTITUTES: Cornell, Monk, Shechter, Moore, de Guzman, Tiendalli, Agustien.

  90. WEST BROM: Myhill, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Jones, Yacob, Morrison, Mulumbu, Brunt, Odemwingie, Lukaku.

  91. SUBSTITUTES: Daniels, Popov, Rosenberg, Long, Dorrans, Tamas, Fortune.

  92. REFEREE: Lee Mason (Lancashire).

  93. 19:24

    Here come the teams...

  94. 19:17

As for you Baggies' fans, three points could lift you up to second in the table! Are you now the biggest club in the West Midlands? And what are your thoughts on 'Miracle Man' Steve Clarke? Send me your views please.

  95. 19:16

What do you think Swansea fans...are you happy with the season so far and would you be happy to see Berra at the club? Email Raz...that's me! at or Tweet me: @RazMirza and I'll publish the best.

  96. 19:15

Laudrup also dismissed speculation linking Swansea with a move to sign Wolves defender Christophe Berra. When asked if he would move for the Scotland international, the Dane replied: 'Who? No.' He added: 'There are always rumours in football you cannot avoid them and when we are just a month away from the transfer window there will be a lot of rumours and we have to accept that, but you won't get the names from me.'

  97. 19:12

The Swans' goalless draw with Liverpool moved them up to ninth in the table, but Albion continued their superb start to the season with a 4-2 win at Sunderland.

  98. 19:10

Michael Laudrup has hailed the job done by Steve Clarke in turning tonight's opponents West Brom into a side that believe they can 'beat anyone, anywhere'. Albion will be looking to win a fifth consecutive top-flight game for the first time in 34 years, and Laudrup knows only too well how much of a threat the confident visitors will pose. He said: 'Confidence is so important in football. Talent, motivation and concentration are also key elements, but if you are winning games and getting good results then you believe you can beat anyone. They have already won a lot of games away from home, they beat Chelsea at home and were unlucky to lose to Manchester City. So West Brom at this moment will feel they can beat anyone no matter where they play. They don't think they are the best team in the world but they are confident.'
