Scott Linton: Scored Cowdenbeath's equaliser at Hamilton

Cowdenbeath secured their First Division status after coming from behind to defeat Hamilton 3-1 at New Douglas Park.

Hamilton took the lead through Stevie May's 27th-minute strike but the hosts were reduced to 10 men soon afterwards when Andrew Ryan was red-carded for violent conduct.

Cowdenbeath levelled proceedings within three minutes of the restart through Scott Linton, before moving ahead on 72 minutes courtesy of Craig Moore's seventh goal of the season.

The Blue Brazil secured a precious victory with six minutes remaining through Marc McKenzie, and Dunfermline's defeat to Airdrie saw them avoid a relegation play-off.
