Gary Holt: The Falkirk boss had to settle for a point
Raith Rovers and Falkirk could not be separated as the Scottish First Division sides shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw.
It was somewhat of a let-down for the Raith supporters as they watched their side fail to break down their visitors in their season's final home game.
But they will perhaps be satisfied with such a stubborn performance from their players going up against a team seven points above them in the table.
A youthful Raith side began in sprightly fashion as midfielder Allan Walker looked set to volley in a spectacular opener, only to see the ball fire wildly over.
New boy Joe Cardle also missed the target when he blasted wide for the hosts, as Falkirk fought back with their best chance of the half falling to striker Lyle Taylor who blazed over from eight yards.
The second half failed to explode into life, although a powerful drive from on-loan midfielder Iain Flannigan almost stole the points for Falkirk, only to see the ball beaten away by keeper Ross Laidlaw.
And so the contest fizzled out with both teams having to settle for a point apiece.
