Ryan Thomson celebrates his goal in Dunfermlines win at Cappielow
Greenock Morton's hopes of winning the First Division are virtually over following a 1-0 reverse to stricken Dunfermline.
Ryan Thomson scored the only goal of the game at Cappielow with just 10 minutes on the clock.
The result is a major boost for the Pars though, who dropped to second bottom in the table following a 15-point deduction for entering administration.
Dunfermline are now three points behind Dumbarton with a game in hand, but at the top of the table Partick Thistle victory over Airdrie United has opened up an eight-point advantage over Morton.
