Stevie May: Former St Johnstone striker put Hamilton ahead
Cowdenbeath and Hamilton remain just outside the relegation places in the Irn-Bru First Division after drawing 1-1 at Central Park.
Hamilton made a decent start with Jon Routledge going close when he fired just wide.
Ziggy Gordon then went even closer as his shot was touched onto the post by home keeper Colin Stewart.
Stevie May finally broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute when he latched onto Grant Gillespie's pass and fired under Stewart to score.
However, Hamilton's lead lasted only six minutes before Craig Moore levelled with a header and the striker then went close to a second when he shot just wide before the interval.
May wasted a chance to put the Accies back in front after the restart when his weak shot was easily saved by Stewart.
Andy Ryan and Darian Mackinnon also went close for Hamilton but neither side was able to find a winner in the closing stages with Cowdenbeath drawing for the third match running.
