Jamie Young: Unlikely participant for Shots

Team news for Tuesday's League Two clash between Aldershot and Burton Albion at the EBB Stadium.

The Shots have a host injury concerns ahead of their home clash.

First-choice goalkeeper Jamie Young was taken to hospital having suffered concussion in the second half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bradford and is unlikely to be risked so soon. Glenn Morris, who came on at Valley Parade, is again on standby.

Captain Ben Herd followed him off the pitch just nine minutes later suffering with severe cramp but he is hopeful of being okay to face the third-placed Brewers.

Striker Danny Hylton and left-back Anthony Tonkin missed the game altogether due to injuries sustained in training during the week and both will be assessed before the encounter.

Lionel Ainsworth returned to the bench at the weekend after injury to join fit-again Jeff Goulding in the matchday 18, although defender Troy Brown remains in the treatment room.

Albion head to Hampshire having come through Saturday's victory over Cheltenham with no new problems.

Following a 3-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers, Brewers boss Gary Rowett changed his starting line-up for the first time in five matches against the Robins.

There was only one change as Zander Diamond replaced the unfortunate Marcus Holness at centre-half, but the skipper did not put a foot wrong on his return and looks likely to keep his place in the team.

After such an impressive performance against one of their promotion rivals, Rowett could again name an unchanged side.

Should he wish to make any changes though, he has the likes of Holness, fellow defender Andrew Corbett, midfielders Jack Dyer and Adam Drury and strikers Calvin Zola and Matthew Paterson to call upon.

Victory over the Shots combined with defeat for Port Vale at Bristol Rovers would see Burton move up to second place in the league.
