Johnson: Nursing a knee injury

Johnson: Nursing a knee injury

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Wycombe and Dagenham at Adams Park.

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth could recall striker Matt McClure after he stepped off the bench and earned them a point last weekend.

The 21-year-old had only been on the pitch for six minutes at AFC Wimbledon when he scored his eighth goal of the season to secure a 2-2 draw.

He could replace Dean Morgan or Jo Kuffour in the Wycombe attack as they look to extend their unbeaten run to three League Two games.

Ainsworth, who was an unused substitute last weekend, will be without Gary Doherty again as he recovers from back surgery.

Danny Foster also went under the knife and is ruled out, while Leon Johnson still has a knee injury.

Wycombe are 17th in the division and are now seven points clear of the relegation zone.

John Still has no new injury or suspension problems to contend with for Dagenham.

The Daggers Boss is likely to keep faith with the same XI who came from behind to see off Rochdale 2-1 last weekend, Medy Elito netting an injury-time winner.

Sam Williams returned from a knee complaint to start against Dale and has suffered no ill-effects, meaning the forward is again set to line up at Adams Park.

Midfielder Michael Spillane, who has been an unused substitute for the club's last three games, on Thursday completed a move to Southend for an undisclosed fee.

Winger Sean Shields and striker Gianluca Gracco are still to make their Daggers debuts having signed for the club recently.

The Daggers go into the clash just three points off the play-offs, despite lying 13th in the table.
